Breakfast in Finland

Following up on a discussion thread yesterday on Google Plus, I took a shot of my breakfast this morning at the Rikala Hotel in Salo, Finland. It's pretty typical for a breakfast buffet in a Scandinavian hotel.

On the right is a bowl of Rice Krispies. Sometimes they're Kelloggs, sometimes they're "generic."

The boiled eggs at this hotel are 7-min, so they're hard-boiled. I prefer 3-minute eggs if I can get them, but either tend to be better than the scrambled eggs you find at these hotels. The bacon is "American" style, usually more undercooked than the crispy-to-burnt Americans like.

Meats and cheeses will vary from country to country, but the theme is the same. Same for the bread.

Apple juice, then, time permitting, back for a coffee. If no time, I'll grab coffee when I get to the office.
