Now here's something I've never done before: I went to lunch at a place simply because they followed me on Twitter. Kiddo's off today from school for MLK Day, so we went to Nonna Mia on Esplanade.
The place is on Esplanade near Mystery, just down from Canseco's Grocery.
Gorgeous day! I like resturants in old houses, but it was just too lovely not to eat outside.
I had the Roasted Eggplant pizza (at top) and kiddo had Pepperoni. Crust was great, toppings fresh, no complaints at all.
The receipt said our server's name was Bard, and she was fantastic.
Overall, a good first impression. Looking forward to going back and trying a few other things on the menu.
